Because free is not free...
Giving away free clothing costs money.
The Swaddle Swap spends money on baby clothing; printed materials (like flyers, business cards to hand out, and signs); drop-off location bins; clothing storage; taxes; business licenses (starting up a non-profit can cost up to $1000); and gas (driving to and from to pick up donations).
The Swaddle Swap uses advertisements to help offset these costs.
For instance, The Swaddle Swap gets paid a little bit every time someone clicks on an advertisement. This money goes directly to help recuperate costs and fund new purchases.
We apologize if any of the advertisements are annoying or inconvenient, but they are necessary to help us help others.
If you see any advertisements that are offensive or questionable please let us know at admin@theswaddleswap.org. We don't control what ads are generated, but we can remove certain ads.
